I believe the Patriot Act is a tool that grants a gross overstepping of power that will cause more trouble than it will prevent. I believe the passing of the Act puts our nation on a slippery slope wherein our Democratic society morphs into one of In the United States, freedom and privacy are our basic rights, but when terrorism deeming of a national crisis is a Job that can only be performed by the President, only that requires stricter security measures for procedures already in place. That way, Act can ensure is not society living in a state of safety but rather living in a state of
